PWG Dynamite Duumvirate Tag Team Title Tournament
El Dynamite Duumvirate Tag Team Title Tournament (DDT4) es un torneo anual por parejas promovido y celebrado por Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, en el que se pone en juego el Campeonato Mundial por parejas de PWG, forzando a los campeones por parejas hasta el 2011, a partir de entonces se determina el contendiente número uno al título.
Historia de DDT4

editarEl primer DDT4 se celebró el 19 y 20 de mayo de 2007 en Burbank, California, por el vacante Campeonato Mundial por parejas de PWG.[1][2]

DDT4 (2008)
editarEl segundo DDT4 se celebró el 17 y 18 de mayo de 2008 en Burbank, California, con Kevin Steen y El Genérico entrando en el torneo como defensores del título.[3][4] Kota Ibushi iba a aparecer, pero una lesión de tobillo le apartó del ring, siendo reemplazado por su compañero El Blazer.[5]

editarEl tercer DDT4 fue celebrado el 22 de mayo de 2009 en Reseda, California, con The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson y Nick Jackson) entrando en el torneo como defensores del título.[6] Originalmente, los equipos The Hybrid Dolphins (Bryan Danielson y Paul London), Chris Hero y Roderick Strong, y Los Luchas (Phoenix Star y Zokre) fueron anunciados para el torneo,[6] sin embargo, Los Luchas fueron reemplazados en el evento por los reunidos Dark & Lovely (Human Tornado y Scorpio Sky), Paul London sufrir una lesión y Strong tuvo que abandonar su lugar, porque Hero tuvo que defender el título mundial de PWG, lo que dejó a The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley y Chris Sabin) sin oponentes, pasando directamente a la siguiente fase.[7]

editarEl sexto DDT4 fue celebrado el 21 de abril de 2012 en Reseda, California.[12][13] Los entonces campeones Appetite for Destruction (Kevin Steen y Super Dragon) iban a entrar en el torneo, pero Super Dragon se rompió su talón. Los campeones fueron reemplazados por El Genérico y Willie Mack en el torneo, que fue usado para determinar el contendiente número uno al título.[14]
